The memory card needs to be a PS2 card with a MagicGate encryption chip (offical or NyKo brand). Also your PS2 needs to be lower than the 9000 series. Imade my own by using a codebreaker disc to copy a save file savebomb to the MC. Then used the save to do the PS1 Disc crash to ELF method to install FreeMcBoot to a MC.

Nov 26, 2023 路 i couldnt get the disable command to work unfortunately. i think the mem card had fmcb 1.965 or something similar on it. so i doint think its a really old version. thanks for the info on the working modchips ive now ordered an unchipped console. so we shall see if that solves the issue and lets me backup my games and save my laser
